The Southern States Police Benevolent Association is a group with a membership of over 34,000 police officers serving in city, state, and federal jurisdictions. The primary goal of this association is to provide these officers with legal representation in civil and criminal cases, as well as in cases of disciplinary action within law enforcement agencies.
In addition to legal services, members of the association are eligible for an accidental death benefit plan. The beneficiary of this plan receives payment equal to one year of the officer’s salary, up to $60,000, if the officer falls in the line of service. Members fund the legal services and legislative lobbying efforts they receive through dues, and the association also accepts donations from outside contributors.
Paul Caston is a debt relief agency as defined by the United States bankruptcy code. The office helps people file for relief under the bankruptcy code.
